Alex graduated from Griffith University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy and has worked as a dental hygienist and therapist in Bondi Beach, Sydney & Margaret River, Western Australian and relocated back to beautiful Brisbane 18months ago continuing working, gaining a vast amount of knowledge and experience in the dental field.
Alex has recently joined the Greg Dougall Dental team and is known for her gentle and caring approach.
As an oral health therapist, Alex aims to assist patients in achieving optimum oral health through prevention of dental disease. As an oral health therapist, Alex performs thorough, scale and cleans on all our patients and is able to treat mild to moderate gum disease.
Alex has extensive experience in teeth whitening, wanting to help patients achieve their best smile.
Alex believes a dental visit should be comfortable and rather enjoyable!
As a therapist, Alex is able to restore teeth, apply fissure sealants and remove baby teeth when necessary in children from four to seventeen years of age.
Her aim is to give all patients a pleasant experience in the dental chair, making dental visits FUN and helping to shape a child’s dental future.
In her spare time, Alex is a qualified Pilate’s instructor, she enjoys doing Pilates, sampling the food and wine of Brisbane’s up and coming food scene, and taking trips down south to Northern New South Wales coastal towns.
